This Senedd:
1. Notes that 17 November 2021 will mark the first anniversary of the Cervical Cancer Elimination movement.
2. Recognises this date marks when the World Health Organisation launched the global strategy to accelerate the elimination of cervical cancer as a public health problem.
3. Emphasises the importance of cervical screening and HPV vaccinations in preventing cervical cancer.
4. Acknowledges that attending cervical screenings is important, but not always easy.
5. Highlights that Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust provides information and support on all aspects of cervical health and HPV.
