OPIN-2021-0190 COVID-19 cases and working practices at DVLA Swansea

This Senedd:
1. Regrets that more than 500 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency’s offices in Swansea since the start of the pandemic.
2. Notes the concerns of workers and trade union representatives with regards to poor working practices and COVID-19 safeguarding measures at the DVLA.
3. Calls on the Welsh Government to work with Swansea Council and the UK Government to ensure that the DVLA offices in Swansea are compliant with legislation put in place by the Welsh Government to ensure workers’ safety during the COVID-19 outbreak.
