OPIN-2020-0187 Supporting convenience stores (e) Tabled on 02/12/2020

This Senedd:

a) Recognises the essential role of convenience stores in providing groceries and essential services to communities throughout the coronavirus outbreak.

b) Welcomes findings from the Welsh Local Shop Report 2021 showing convenience stores provide 26,000 secure, local and flexible jobs and have invested £30 million over the last year.

c) Commits to supporting convenience stores to continue investing and adapting to meet local community needs.
