National Assembly for Wales

To propose that the Senedd:

1. Regrets that Amazon is reported to have paid just £6.3 million in corporation tax in the UK last year despite reported sales of more than £13 billion.
2. Recognises that the demise of the high street has coincided with the rise of huge online retailers like Amazon.
3. Encourages the UK Treasury to be proactive in ensuring companies like Amazon pay their fair share of tax to boost public finances and create a more level playing field with high-street retailers.
4. Urges Amazon to meet with unions representing workers in Wales to improve its poor working conditions.
