National Assembly for Wales

This Assembly:

1. Welcomes Fair Tax Week and Tax Justice Sunday which celebrate companies/organisations that are proud to pay their fair share of tax.

2. Expresses concern that billions of pounds are missing from the public purse annually because of corporation tax avoidance.

3. Believes this causes damage because:

a) small businesses cannot compete;

b) it contributes to inequality;

c) companies play by their own rules; and

d) less money is available for public services.

4. Encourages local businesses in Wales to become part of a fair tax movement, leading on responsible practice, to change our tax landscape for the better.
