OPIN-2018-0118 Less-survivable cancers (e) Tabled on 12/12/2018

This Assembly:

1. Expresses concern over the poor five-year survival rate of the less survivable cancers in Wales, which stands at an average of just 16 percent and calls on NHS Wales to adopt a new survival target of 32 percent.

2. Calls on the Welsh Government to work with charities, service providers and health professionals to improve awareness, early diagnosis, treatment, research and outcomes of the less survivable cancers across Wales.
