OPIN-2018-0107 World Homeless Day (e) Tabled on 03/10/2018

This Assembly:

1. Notes that 10 October is World Homeless Day.

2. Agrees that a home is a basic right for everyone and provides a chance to promote good health and to contribute to and feel part of society.

3. Regrets that figures by Crisis show that 236,000 people across Great Britain, including 8,200 in Wales, are experiencing the worst forms of homelessness.

4. Welcomes the aim of the recently published plan by Crisis to end all forms of homelessness across Wales, Scotland and England.

5. Calls on Welsh Government to introduce a plan to end homelessness in Wales.
