OPIN-2018-0105 Wales in Creative Europe (e) Tabled on 01/10/2018

This Assembly:

1. Believes that:

a) developing talent and skills is fundamental to Wales’s future prosperity and that creativity reaches beyond the realm of arts and culture to enrich all areas of our national life;

b) whether in terms of securing investment, signposting or enabling access to partnerships and valuable resources, Wales’s membership of Creative Europe has assisted practitioners in fostering excellence; and

c) following Brexit, it will be essential that Wales maintains co-operation with its continental neighbours and that continuing participation in Creative Europe provides one such vehicle for projecting soft power.
