This Assembly:
1. Notes that 15 - 23 September 2018 is Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) Week.
2. Notes that lung disease is the third biggest killer in Wales, affecting 1 in 5.
3. Notes that around 2,100 people are living with IPF; a rare, incurable and life-limiting disease causing progressive scarring of the lungs.
4. Notes the work of the British Lung Foundation in raising awareness of IPF and steps Welsh Government can take to improve people’s quality of life.
5. Urges Welsh Government to support and invest in research into the causes of IPF and the most effective treatments.
