National Assembly for Wales

This Assembly:

Welcomes Arthritis Care Week 14 - 21 May 2016 with this year's theme of #arthritismatters;

Acknowledges that arthritis can impact on people of all ages, including children and that the number of people living with arthritis in Wales is estimated at 480,000;

Recognises that arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions are leading causes of physical impairment and work absence in Wales and yet are often underestimated and overlooked; and

Looks forward to engaging with the charity Arthritis Care to improve understanding, recognition, support and services for people living with arthritis in Wales.
