Will the First Minister provide an update on the national cancer strategy?
Cancer is the leading cause of mortality in Wales, and we have committed to publishing a national cancer strategy for Wales—the first of its kind in 20 years—at a national cancer conference on World Cancer Day. The 10-year strategy will set out an ambitious future for cancer care in Wales and give the NHS the clarity it needs to focus on this set of conditions and to deliver better services for the people of Wales.
