How has the Welsh Government improved access to health services in Montgomeryshire?

We have provided substantial additional targeted investment and direct intervention through NHS Wales Performance and Improvement to ensure health boards across all parts of Wales provide every person - wherever they live - with access to timely, high-quality treatment. Our plan is working as evidenced by the fall in waiting times for eight successive months.

What is the Welsh Government doing to improve health and wellbeing across Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire?

We support health and wellbeing across Wales, including in Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire through A Healthier Wales and our national plans and strategies. We are committed to ensuring everyone can access health and care services, whilst remaining focussed on developing policy approaches that support those most at risk.

Ensuring equality and fairness across all of our communities is Wales is at the heart of what we do.  Our Strategic Equality and Human Rights Plan and National Equality Objectives set out our ambition to create a fairer and more equal Wales.
