Will the Cabinet Secretary make a statement on the upcoming changes to the NHS dental contract for Wales, due to come into force in April 2026?
From April, Wales will introduce new NHS dental contract arrangements, the first major reform in 20 years. Driven by extensive engagement and piloting, the changes modernise an outdated system, focusing on clinical need, prevention and improved access. The new arrangements also introduce a much fairer and transparent system of payment for dentists.
What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the ongoing performance of the Welsh immunisation service?
The Welsh immunisation system is part of a broad commitment to digitally enable vaccinations. The performance of the system is continuously reviewed. We are committed to continuing work with our partners in the NHS, primary care, and Digital Health and Care Wales to monitor and further refine the system.

The Welsh Government invests significantly in medical education. In recent years we have expanded training places, supported the new North Wales Medical School and provided financial support through the NHS Wales bursary scheme.
