Will the First Minister make a statement on the provision of gynaecological care in north Wales?

We have seen substantial reductions in waiting times for gynaecology referrals and treatments in north Wales because of the additional investment in planned care this year. Waits for out-patient appointments have reduced and the number of patients waiting over two years has reduced by 52 per cent since the peak. In the last month 421 women were informed they did not have gynaecological cancer, and 19 women commenced cancer treatment.

How will the Welsh Government support infrastructure improvements in Blaenau Gwent to enhance connectivity and services?

We want to give local leaders a greater say over investment in transport priorities. The new regional transport plans will allow regions to build on the improvements delivered through metro to improve connectivity and drive regeneration and growth.
