Will the First Minister make a statement on accident and emergency waiting times?
Despite improvements in ambulance responsiveness and ambulance patient handover performance, emergency care waiting times are not where we, NHS staff or the public want them to be. We are supporting through additional funding and assistance from national improvement programmes and clinical networks. We have set clear expectations for improvement.
What action is the Welsh Government taking to tackle loneliness and isolation this winter?
This winter, we continue to deliver our Connected Communities strategy and are currently working with our local authority information, advice and assistance services to strengthen how they identify and support vulnerable people. We also fund third sector initiatives through the sustainable social services grant and the regional integration fund, enabling projects that tackle loneliness and isolation, such as befriending schemes and community activities, ensuring people stay connected throughout the year.
