What discussions has the First Minister had regarding establishing an independent process to consider complaints against Audit Wales?
I have not held any discussions in relation to establishing an independent process to consider complaints against Audit Wales.
Audit Wales has an established complaints procedure which is comparable to that operated by the National Audit Office.
What plans does the Welsh Government have to improve road safety on trunk roads in Monmouthshire?
Officials continue to address the road safety issues in Monmouthshire at several priority sites for concerns raised through monitoring data and also by local communities.
These sites include A40 Raglan, A4042 Secret Garden and A4042 Penperlleni. Road safety improvement schemes will continue to be prioritised and funded as evidence and local concerns are raised.
We are keeping the Raglan community updated and are set to meet with the representatives later next month.
How is the Welsh Government implementing the judgement of the Supreme Court on the definition of a woman?
The Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Trefnydd and Chief Whip laid a statement setting out Welsh Government’s response to the judgement on 29 April and work is underway across Welsh Government to identify cross-Government policy areas that may be impacted by the Supreme Court ruling.
What discussions has the Welsh Government had with the UK Government regarding the impact on Wales of the upcoming UK budget?
Intergovernmental relations have improved since the current UK Government came into office, with regular and constructive engagement. I frequently meet with the Chancellor. The Finance Minister also has regular engagement with Treasury Ministers and met with the Chief Secretary to the Treasury last Friday to discuss Wales’s priorities for the UK Budget.
