Stealing a pet isn’t just theft, it’s an attack on what families hold dear. It’s already a crime, with tough penalties of up to seven years in prison. I’m proud to say our Government has a strong record on animal welfare and we’re determined to keep raising the bar.

I have not made any assessment of the number of seafarer jobs supported by the ferry services from ports in Wales. The Welsh maritime sector is a extremely valuable contributor to the Welsh economy, supporting over 31,000 jobs and contributing £900 million in gross value added to the economy.
