Will the First Minister make a statement on the role of co-operatives in the Welsh economy?
Social enterprises and community-led cooperatives are an important part of the social and economic landscape in Wales. Dedicated support is available through Business Wales, Social Business Wales and the Development Bank of Wales.
What discussions has the Welsh Government had with the UK Government regarding a potential UK-USA trade deal?
The Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning has had two discussions with the UK Government on the tariff announcements made by President Trump, and the UK’s response. I have also met with the Prime Minister. Officials continue to have meetings with the UK government about a potential USA deal.
Will the First Minister outline what the Welsh Government is doing to improve transport infrastructure in Preseli Pembrokeshire?
Our Transport Strategy, Llwybr Newydd, sets out our vision to improve transport across Wales. We will deliver this vision in Preseli Pembrokeshire through the projects set out in our National Transport Delivery Plan and the South West Wales Regional Transport Plan, the consultation for which closed on 6th April.
How is the Welsh Government working with the UK Government to ensure the safety of prisoners in Welsh prisons?
Prisons and offender management are the responsibility of the UK Government. We work closely with His Majety’s Prison and Probation Service on areas where we do have responsibilities such as health and social care and will continue to work together to help mitigate the risk of future harm to prisoners.
