Will the First Minister outline the Welsh Government's plans to develop grassroots sport?

On behalf of the Welsh Government, Sport Wales is responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity. Through the Vision for Sport and Sport Wales’s strategy, they support national governing bodies and other partners to deliver grass-roots sport in our communities.

What initiatives has the Welsh Government implemented to support economic growth and development in Blaenau Gwent?

The Welsh Government work closely with key partners on the infrastructure and skills needed to deliver economic growth in Blaenau Gwent. Work is under way to ensure we maximise economic benefits for the Heads of the Valleys and jointly capitalise on the improved connectivity the A465 enhancement offers.

Will the First Minister provide an update on Welsh Government's work with the Burns delivery unit?

The delivery unit's work has confirmed a strong business case for five new railway stations and we want to work with the UK Government to move to construction. We are also working with local authorities on improving central Newport and developing better bus and active travel connections between Cardiff and Newport.

How does the Welsh Government's budget help tackle child poverty?

We are doing everything within the powers we have to tackle child poverty and are working with our partners towards a Wales where every child, young person and family can prosper. Distributional analysis shows the Welsh Government budget is one that prioritises spending most on those that have the least.
