This one-year UK Budget shows the new UK Government is listening to us – including investing £25m in coal tip safety, more public sector investment and delivering the next stage of the Celtic Freeport.
What assessment has the First Minister made of the impact of the UK Chancellor's budget on people in Vale of Clwyd?
The measures announced by the Chancellor will help us to reinvest in our public services, including in the Vale of Clwyd. The increases in the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage will provide a much-needed uplift for many low paid workers.
Will the First Minister provide an update on the Government's plans to insulate houses?
Our new Green Homes Wales loan scheme offers free technical support and an interest free loan to implement decarbonisation solutions. It complements our Optimised Retrofit Programme and Warm Homes Nest scheme, which continue to support lower income households – delivering healthier, greener homes which are cheaper to run.

This Government is providing record levels of investment in social housing across Wales during this Senedd term, with over £1.4bn already invested. Details of the social housing budget for 2025-26 will be announced in the draft budget in December.
