What plans does the Welsh Government have to review the governance of health boards?

In October 2023, I established a ministerial advisory group to reflect on governance structures. The Welsh Government will publish its initial response to the group's seven key recommendations this autumn, prioritising those that support NHS performance and pandemic recovery.

Will the First Minister make a statement about the guidelines given to local authorities when preparing spatial plans?

The development plans manual sets out detailed advice on how to prepare a local development plan. It identifies the key issues to be addressed and the level of evidence required to achieve an adopted LDP, alongside 'Future Wales' and 'Planning Policy Wales'.

How is the Welsh Government supporting renewable energy projects?

We have set targets for Wales to fully meet our electricity needs from renewable energy. We have set up Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru with a target of 1 GW of new development, and, through Ynni Cymru, we have launched a £10 million grant to invest in renewable energy projects within our communities.
