How is the Welsh Government meeting the needs of pupils with additional learning needs?

The additional learning needs statutory framework secures additional learning provision for ALN learners, underpinned by a whole-school approach to mental health and well-being. The Curriculum for Wales is designed to break down barriers for all learners, giving teachers more flexibility to best meet the individual needs of each child.

How is the Welsh Government addressing road safety concerns in Montgomeryshire?

We are committed to improving road safety. Our 20 mph policy aims to save lives and reduce casualties on our roads. We provide funding to local authorities for cycle, child pedestrian, and motorcycle training, and our transport plan includes schemes to improve safety on the strategic road network in mid Wales.

Will the First Minister make a statement on flood-risk management in Conwy county borough?

Since 2021 we have invested £51.8 million in Conwy county borough through our multi-year coastal risk management programme. We are also making £2.8 million available to the local authority in 2024-25 through our annual flood and coastal risk management programme. We estimate this investment will benefit 8,625 properties.
