What is the Welsh Government doing to help businesses to reduce their energy usage?

Business Wales offers a range of resource efficiency information, advice and support to help businesses reduce their energy use, and decarbonisation advisers work with businesses to create a green growth pledge and help them to build a resource efficient and resilient business.

What action has the Welsh Government taken to boost the renewable energy sector in Wales?

We are working on a wide range of steps to promote the renewable energy sector in Wales on a local and national level. These include improvements to planning and consenting around infrastructure, identifying issues with the energy grid, and promoting a mix of proven and innovative renewable energy technologies.

What discussions has the Cabinet Secretary had with the Cabinet Secretary for North Wales and Transport regarding the impact of public transport on the economy?

I regularly meet with my cabinet colleagues, including the Cabinet Secretary for North Wales and Transport, to discuss and agree policies across our portfolios. Any discussions concerning public transport would consider its impact on the economic and social well-being of people in Wales.
