What action is the Welsh Government taking to support the economy in west Wales?
Amongst the actions taken is ongoing support for the projects that comprises the Swansea bay city deal. These projects focus on economic development in all parts of west Wales.
What discussions has the Welsh Government had with local government colleagues about local authorities' public sector pension scheme investments?
The Minister for Finance and Local Government recently discussed the extent of Russian-linked investments in the Local Government Pension Scheme. Leaders confirmed very limited exposure and that steps were in hand to divest from such funds. Previous discussions have included how investment can support Wales's net-zero commitment.
What is the Government doing to reduce the unpaid care burden that falls mainly on women?
The unpaid care burden has been prioritised in our work to achieve gender equality. We are expanding our childcare offer and committed to work in social partnership to eliminate the pay gap for gender, race and ethnicity by 2050. In 2021-22 we invested £10 million to support unpaid carers.
What is the Welsh Government's latest assessment of the impact on devolved responsibilities of the war in Ukraine?
