1. Cyflwyniad, ymddiheuriadau, dirprwyon a datgan buddiannau
1. Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

Welcome, everyone, to this meeting of the Local Government and Housing Committee. Our first item on the agenda today is introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest. Following Jayne Bryant's appointment as Minister for Mental Health and Early Years, she has recused herself from all of this committee's business. Jayne remains a member of the committee, however, until a replacement has been elected. This meeting today is being held in hybrid format, and aside from the adaptations relating to conducting proceeding's in that way, all other Standing Order requirements remain in place. The public items of this meeting are being broadcast live on Senedd.tv, and the Record of Proceedings will be published as usual. The meeting is bilingual, and simultaneous translation is available. Are there any declarations of interest? No.

2. Papurau i'w nodi
2. Papers to note

Then we will move on to item 2, papers to note. Paper 1 is a letter from the Legislation, Justice and Constitution Committee to the then Minister for Climate Change in relation to the legislative consent memorandum for the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill. Yes, Sam.

I'd like to propose we accept and note these letters en bloc.

Yes, absolutely, if everybody is content, we can indeed accept all the letters, and note them, without me listing them individually. Are Members content to do that? Yes, I see that they are.

3. Cynnig o dan Reol Sefydlog 17.42(vi) i benderfynu gwahardd y cyhoedd o weddill y cyfarfod
3. Motion under Standing Order 17.42(vi) to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of this meeting

Cynnig:

bod y pwyllgor yn penderfynu gwahardd y cyhoedd o weddill y cyfarfod yn unol â Rheol Sefydlog 17.42(vi).

Motion:

that the committee resolves to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting in accordance with Standing Order 17.42(vi).

Cynigiwyd y cynnig.

Motion moved.

In that case, we will move on to item 3, which is a motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of this meeting, so that we may consider legislative consent motions relating to the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill and the Renters (Reform) Bill, note and update on the forward work programme for the summer term, and agree the order of consideration for Stage 2 proceedings on the Elections and Elected Bodies (Wales) Bill. Are Members content to do so? I see that you are. We will, then, move into private session.

Derbyniwyd y cynnig.

Daeth rhan gyhoeddus y cyfarfod i ben am 09:32.

Motion agreed.

The public part of the meeting ended at 09:32.
