To propose that the Senedd:

1. Notes a proposal for a Bill to ensure that planning guidance and town centre development policy adequately consider safety and gender.

2. Notes that the purpose of the Bill would be to:

a) place a duty on local authorities to consider safety and gender in all planning decisions relating to significant new housing developments with regard to access to public transport and active travel, and in relation to town centre regeneration;

b) require developers to pay due regard to safety and gender in significant new housing developments with regard to access to public transport and active travel; and

c) require developers to pay due regard to safety and gender in public spaces in town centres.
