To propose that the Senedd:

1. Notes that COVID work-from-home mandates have created a new working environment which has blurred the lines between the private and work domain.

2. Notes that this new environment has led to an increase in employees being expected to be available outside of work hours.

3. Acknowledges that this imbalance in work and private life has led to a decline in workers’ wellbeing and health.

4. Calls on the Welsh Government to request that the UK Government legislates to address the issue by implementing similar reforms to those introduced recently in Portugal, whereby certain employers are prohibited from contacting workers outside normal working hours.
