Good morning and welcome to the Climate Change, Environment, Sustainability and Rural Affairs Committee

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the first meeting of the Climate Change, Environment, Sustainability and Rural Affairs Committee. Just to note that the public items of this meeting are being broadcast live on Senedd.tv and a record of proceedings will be published as usual. Please note that the meeting is bilingual and simultaneous translation is available from Cymraeg to Saesneg. And please also note that apologies have been received from David Mills MS. I'd like now to ask Members: are there any declarations of interest from anybody? Na. Lovely.

We'll move on now to item 2, committee remit. The purpose of this paper is to note the remit and responsibility of the Climate Change, Environment, Sustainability and Rural Affairs Committee. Members have been sent this in advance, so you've all had time to look at it. Are Members content with the remit? Yes, I see that everyone is content.

I'd also like to say to stakeholders, thank you very much for contacting the committee. We have been inundated with invites and requests for meetings, and just to let you all know that we'll be in touch in a week or so, getting back to you. So, we're not ignoring you, we're just trying to get through everything that we have at the moment to look at. If Members are all happy with papers to note—. I take it that all Members are content.
