The proceedings are reported in the language in which they were spoken in the committee. In addition, a transcription of the simultaneous interpretation is included. Where contributors have supplied corrections to their evidence, these are noted in the transcript.

1. Cyflwyniad, ymddiheuriadau, dirprwyon a datgan buddiannau
1. Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

Welcome to today's meeting of the Children, Young People and Education Committee. Before I go any further, today is our last committee meeting. I can't let it pass without comment. I am very proud of the work the committee has done since it was established in 2021. We have delivered on our strategic plan commitment to put the voices of children and young people at the heart of all our work. I hope any successor committee will build on our work. I would like to thank you all and all the previous committee members for all the hard work this committee has undertaken.

The public items of this meeting are being broadcast live on Senedd.tv. A record of proceedings will be published as usual. The meeting is bilingual and simultaneous translation from Welsh to English is available. There are no apologies. Are there any declarations of interest from Members? I can see there are none.

2. Papurau i'w nodi
2. Papers to note

So, I now move on to item 2, which is papers to note. We have seven papers to note today, full details of which are set out in the agenda and in the paper pack. Are Members content to note papers? I can see Members are.

3. Cynnig o dan Reol Sefydlog Rhif 17.42(ix) i benderfynu gwahardd y cyhoedd o weddill y cyfarfod
3. Motion under Standing Order 17.42(ix) to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of this meeting

Cynnig:

bod y pwyllgor yn penderfynu gwahardd y cyhoedd o weddill y cyfarfod yn unol â Rheol Sefydlog 17.42(ix).

Motion:

that the committee resolves to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting in accordance with Standing Order 17.42(ix).

Cynigiwyd y cynnig.

Motion moved.

So, moving on to item 3, I propose, in accordance with Standing Order 17.42(ix), that the committee resolves to meet in private for the remainder of today's meeting. Are Members content? I can see they are. We now proceed in private.

Derbyniwyd y cynnig.

Daeth rhan gyhoeddus y cyfarfod i ben am 09:37.

Motion agreed.

The public part of the meeting ended at 09:37.
