1. Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest

Wel, bore da. Croeso, bawb, i ail gyfarfod Pwyllgor yr Economi, Masnach a Materion Gwledig y chweched Senedd. Dyma'r tro cyntaf i ni gwrdd mewn person gyda'n gilydd, felly croeso cynnes i chi i gyd. Gyda chytundeb yr Aelodau, bydd y rhan fwyaf o'r cyfarfod heddiw yn cynnwys sesiwn gynllunio strategol i alluogi Aelodau i drafod blaenoriaethau o ran gwaith a ffyrdd o weithio yn y dyfodol. Bydd y sesiwn hon, wrth gwrs, yn breifat, a chaiff y rhan gyhoeddus yma o gyfarfod y pwyllgor ei darlledu'n fyw ar Senedd.tv.

Nid oes unrhyw ymddiheuriadau wedi dod i law ar gyfer y cyfarfod heddiw. Oes yna unrhyw fuddiannau hoffai Aelodau eu datgan? Unrhyw fuddiannau o gwbl? Na, dim. Iawn.

Well, good morning. Welcome, everyone, to the second meeting of the Economy, Trade and Rural Affairs Committee of the sixth Senedd. This is the first time that we've met in person, so a warm welcome to you all. With Members' agreement, the majority of today's meeting will consist of a strategic planning session for Members to consider future work priorities and ways of working. This session will of course be held in private, and this first public part of the committee will be broadcast live on Senedd.tv.

We have not been notified of any apologies for today's meeting. Are there any declarations of interest? Any declarations of interest at all? None. Okay.

2. Papurau i'w nodi
2. Paper(s) to note

Os symudwn ni ymlaen, felly, i eitem 2, mae gennym ni nifer o bapurau i'w nodi. Rŷm ni wedi derbyn llythyr gan Archwilydd Cyffredinol Cymru; llythyr gan y Llywydd a Chadeirydd y Pwyllgor Busnes; llythyr gan Gadeirydd y Pwyllgor Cyllid; llythyr gan Gomisiynydd y Gymraeg. Rŷm ni wedi derbyn llythyr gan y Gweinidog Materion Gwledig a Gogledd Cymru, a'r Trefnydd. Rŷm ni wedi derbyn llythyr gan Gadeirydd y Pwyllgor Plant, Pobl Ifanc ac Addysg; llythyr gan Weinidog yr Economi; a rŷm ni hefyd wedi derbyn llythyr gan Gadeirydd y Pwyllgor Cydraddoldeb a Chyfiawnder Cymdeithasol.

Mae papurau 2.5 a 2.7 yn cynnwys gwybodaeth gan Lywodraeth Cymru ac mae'r chwe phapur arall i'w nodi yn berthnasol i flaenoriaethau yn rhaglen waith y pwyllgor a'i ffyrdd o weithio. Bydd hyn, wrth gwrs, yn cael ei ystyried mewn sesiwn breifat yn ddiweddarach heddiw. Oes yna ryw faterion neu sylwadau hoffai Aelodau eu trafod o'r papurau yma o gwbl? Unrhyw sylwadau? Na, dim o gwbl. Dyna ni. Iawn.

If we move on, therefore, to item 2, we have a number of papers to note. We have received a letter from the Auditor General for Wales; a letter from the Llywydd and Chair of the Business Committee; a letter from the Chair of the Finance Committee; a letter from the Welsh Language Commissioner. We have received a letter from the Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd. We have also received a letter from the Chair of the Children, Young People and Education Committee; a letter from the Minister for Economy; and a letter from the chair of the Equality and Social Justice Committee.

Papers 2.5 and 2.7 contain information from the Welsh Government, and the other six papers to note are relevant to the committee's work programme priorities and ways of working. These will be considered later today in private. Are there any issues arising or any comments that Members would want to make about these papers to note? Any comments? No, none at all. There we are. Okay.

3. Trafod y Memorandwm Cydsyniad Deddfwriaethol ar gyfer y Bil Cymwysterau Proffesiynol
3. Consideration of Legislative Consent Memorandum for the Professional Qualifications Bill

Symudwn ni ymlaen, felly, i eitem 3, i drafod yr adroddiad drafft ar femorandwm cydsyniad deddfwriaethol y Bil Cymwysterau Proffesiynol. Wrth gwrs, dyddiad cau hwn ar gyfer adrodd yw'r 30 Medi. Mae'r pwyllgor, wrth gwrs, yn bwriadu trafod yr adroddiad drafft yma mewn sesiwn breifat yn ddiweddarach heddiw. Ond oes unrhyw sylwadau hoffai Aelodau eu gwneud ar gyfer y cofnod cyhoeddus ynglŷn â'r mater penodol yma? Unrhyw un? Na. Dyna fe. Fe drafodwn ni'r drafft nawr yn nes ymlaen heddiw.

We'll move on, therefore, to item 3, consideration of the draft report on the legislative consent memorandum for the Professional Qualifications Bill. Of course, the deadline for reporting on this is 30 September. The committee intends to consider this draft report in a private session later today. But are there any initial comments that Members would want to put on record on this particular issue? Any comments? None. Okay. We will discuss the draft later this morning.
